Ephemerality
This piece is based on how nature is more powerful than humans. For this piece I wanted to express the way in which both nature and humans live in a world together but one is always more powerful than the other, no matter how long they live for. Also, this piece highlights two parts of the world that are not permanent and do not last forever; these being the human heart and flowers. Most flowers only last for a few weeks or even just a season, an even though a human heart can live in a body for many years, it is both not guaranteed and also a very short time when compared to the life span of the Earth, or even the universe.
